About Our Company

C&A Events is a woman-owned boutique event management company experienced in managing high profile meetings and events throughout the U.S. and Internationally. We offer a diverse background in creating and executing innovative event programs that enhance an organization’s image and reputation.

Ann Marie Parrish

One of the co-founders and the event marketing executive at C&A Events is Ann Marie Parrish. Since 1989, she has been in the meetings and events industry and is experienced in the corporate, nonprofit, and association world.  Living in the Northern Virginia area, Parrish enjoys spending time with her husband, David and two energetic German Shorthaired Pointers, Truman and Poppy.

Prior to C&A Events

North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA)

Prior to being the co-founder of C&A Events, Parrish was the Director of Meetings and Membership for NASAA for more than eight years. Her responsibilities included managing membership relations and all association meetings.

MCI Communications

Parrish was the senior manager of corporate events for MCI Communications for nine years. In addition to all the meetings and events held by the CEO, board of directors, and VIP executives of MCI, she managed C-level corporate customer programs.

During her tenure at MCI, Parrish was nominated for Corporate Event Planner of the Year by Event Solutions Magazine. She was chosen as a finalist for this award.


Cindy Palmer

Since 1985, Cindy Palmer has been working in the event management and sports marketing industry. She is one of the co-founders and is an event marketing executive at C&A Events. Palmer lives in the Hilton Head, SC area with her husband Andy Levin.  They enjoy the culinary experiences and the beauty that embraces the Low Country.

Prior to C&A Events

MCI Communications

Cindy Palmer was the Director of MCI Corporate Events, Sponsorships, and Sports Marketing. She managed a department of 15 MCI team members and supervised all corporate, customer, CEO events and sponsorships.

The MCI Heritage Classic, a PGA TOUR tournament was a primary responsibility of Palmer’s as well as serving on the Heritage Classic Foundation Board.  Palmer also managed MCI’s sponsorship of the Monterey Jazz Festival and represented MCI on the Monterey Jazz Festival Board.

Palmer has previously served in the following positions:

Board of Directors of the Greater Washington Sports Charities, Inc., American Kidney Fund Council, and the Membership Committee and Partner Alliances of Destination DC.
